For the Chanel "Grand Palais" campaign, the work focused on translating a poetic "Parisian garden" concept into window displays. A major part of the job was research and development, specifically figuring out how to produce intricate leaf sculptures that wouldn't break. After comparing traditional plaster casting with 3D printing, a sustainable wood-based printing material was selected to solve issues with cracking and moisture. Detailed technical drawings were created to position the foliage and birds perfectly, calculating exact cuts to accommodate access doors and joints. This required solving complex installation challenges, such as securely hanging swings from the ceiling and aligning lighting to ensure a consistent, high-quality look in every store.
